Look said a promotion he’ll be running in March puts him on a quest to find Davison’s worst carpeting and reward that person with new carpeting valued at $1,600.

“I’m calling it ‘Davison, Show Me Your Shag’,” said Look. “I’m in search of the ugliest, most outdated carpeting.”

The contest kicks-off March 2 and the rules are simple: contest entries must be from residents of Davison or Davison Township, they must submit a photo either to Lifestyle Floorings Facebook page or by e-mail to lifestylesflooring @yahoo.com.

The winner of the contest will receive up to 40 square yards of carpeting, valued at $1,600. This includes carpet, pad and labor.

“I wanted to do something fun for Davison,” said Look. “And to get a little exposure. I’d like to get to know the community a little better and have some fun with it.”
