We sadly mark the sudden passing of ROSA LEE (SEINBENALER) STARK, 79, on August 8, 2011, at Hurley Medical Center and VEARRON “DUDE” STARK, 83, on February 3, 2012, at Avalon Hospice. Dude and Rosey married in 1951 and moved from Edgerton, Ohio, to Davison in 1954.

Rose dedicated her life to her family, and in later years, volunteered at Crossroads Village in the General Store at Christmas. She was an accomplished seamstress and crocheter and worked as a recess aide for Davison’s Schools. We miss her generosity, constant support and wonderful care of all of us.

Dude held many jobs and retired from General Motors. During his lifetime he was a Big Brother, Eagle

Scout, EMT and Civil Defense instructor. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and later in the National Guard. He enjoyed walking every day, working out, roller skating, reading and jig-saw puzzles. He is best remembered for his beautiful hand-made furniture and especially for his wonderful smile and sense of humor.

When it came to their children and grandchildren, they never missed a competition, concert or dance recital. And if ever a friend or neighbor was in need, they were always there to help.

Carrying on their memory are daughter, Deborah Berry; son, David (Dina) Stark; grandchildren, Lauren Berry, Jordan Berry and Rodney Ott; surviving are, his brother, Vernon; his sister, Geraldine Childers; and her sister, Joanne (Chuck) Hausch. As well, they are sadly missed by the many others who were lucky enough to have known them.

Cremation has taken place with burial at a future time at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
