Carlee Allard led the team with eight points while Chelsea Oryszczak and Ellie Timmons had six points apiece.

“We played a solid game on both ends of the floor,” noted Davison coach Craig Hitchcock. “Offensively we had some great possessions and defensively we were stout the last three quarters. We did a good job of applying ball pressure and took them out of their offense.

“They had a nice size advantage on us, but we did a nice job keeping them off the boards. When they packed in their zone defense, we moved the ball well and got a lot of good looks. Not many fell tonight, but we played through it. We are really starting to mature and come together as a team right now.”

Last Friday, Davison defeated Bay City Central 55-31 to snap a three-game losing streak. Adrian Gill led the team with 19 points and three steals while Oryszczak added 11 points and four blocks. Anna Tomczak chipped in with nine points and Anna Gill had seven.

“This was by far the most complete game we have played all year,” said Hitchcock. “We did a nice job of controlling the tempo from the start. We had 38 deflections as a team. I’m very pleased with our effort.”

Davison, 3-5, hosts Lake Orion tomorrow at 7 p.m.
